Autonomous Palletising by the Hour

Palletising is a necessary part of manufacturing.

It is also one of the most repetitive and resource-intensive tasks on the shop floor.

At the same time, it often sits at a critical point in the process.
When palletising slows down, everything behind it is affected.

Despite this, automating palletising has traditionally required upfront investment, fixed infrastructure, and long-term commitment.

That is what we are working to change.

Introducing Autonomous Palletising

Guidance Automation is developing an autonomous palletising capability, delivered through our Automation by the Hour model.

No CapEx.
No installation fee.
No licence or maintenance costs.

Just pay for the hours that the robot worker is palletising.

ROI within the first hour.

The aim is to remove repetitive palletising work from your team, freeing up skilled people to focus on higher-value tasks.

Built Around Your Operation

The concept combines robotic palletising with autonomous material movement.

Products are presented to a robot arm, palletised, and then moved on without manual intervention.

It is designed to integrate into existing manufacturing environments, without requiring layout changes or additional infrastructure.

Palletising is handled as part of the process, not as a fixed system your operation has to work around.

Removing a Constraint, Not Redesigning Your Factory

Internal transport and palletising are necessary.

They should not consume skilled labour.

By combining autonomous movement with palletising, both can be handled without adding complexity or committing to long-term ownership.

Development Partners

This is an active development project.

We are looking to work with manufacturing partners who want to be involved in shaping how this capability is deployed in real production environments.

Working together allows us to:

  • Test in live conditions
  • Refine the application around real operational requirements
  • Deliver value from day one

If palletising is creating a constraint in your operation, we would welcome a conversation.
